Bradley S. Salyer - As a newcomer to Oldham County (and the greater Louisville metro area), I found myself biking on the Commerce Parkway trail before I knew what Greenways for Oldham County was, or that it was the entity responsible for the creation of such a wonderful benefit to the community.  As soon as I learned what Greenways was doing for the community, I immediately wanted to become involved.  The work that Greenways is doing provides an incredible benefit because it promotes access to safe and convenient trails on which all of the residents of Oldham County can walk, bike, and run.  This organization is working hard to promote healthier lifestyles and more active living, and the trail system being constructed will be utilized and enjoyed by residents of the community for generations to come.
